Mesha was born and raised in Vancouver, BC and works as a professional actor, model, clothing designer and event organizer. She completed her Associates Degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising from the Art Institute of Vancouver. And later trained as an actor at Vancouver Film School.

Mesha is also actively involved in the community where she supports and lends her time for non-profit organizations and various charities such as Operation Rainbow Canada, Sikh Nation, Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen and Red Cross Pakistan Flood Relief.

Mesha’s hobbies include: Acting, dancing, modeling, organizing events such as fashion shows, sewing, and traveling. Her friends would best describe her as someone who is strong, bold, passionate and genuine. Mesha’s strongest attributes are her drive, dedication and sensibility.

Name: Megan Stagg

Age: 20 | Height: 5’5″ | Ottawa, ON

Megan Stagg was born in Ottawa, Ontario. A very upbeat, positive, and creative individual, Megan loves to spend time with her friends and family, as they are very important to her.

A student at Carleton University she is majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology. In addition to her school workload she also works part-time as a server at both Lobby Nightclub and Moxies Classic Bar and Grill. Megan feels that exercise is a very important part of leading a healthy and well-balanced life.

Megan’s passion in life is performing and being able to express herself through acting, dancing and visual arts achieving a Dramatic Arts Certificate from Canterbury High School.

Megan is already pursuing a career in advertising, and after graduation, she plans to go to college for hands-on, practical experience in the field. A true dream would be to weave her passion for the arts and a creative flair for fashion into her advertising career, and at some point design fashion-wear for women.

Megan has always loved to travel and has been very fortunate since childhood that as a family they have traveled to several beautiful and fascinating places in the world. On her bucket-list is the hope that through her career and other opportunities she will be able to visit as many countries in the world as she can.

Megan aspires to win Miss Universe Canada 2011 and hopes to encourage other women to have the confidence in themselves to achieve anything they put their mind to. Her outlook is that life is beautiful and a gift to us, so we should not take anything for granted because it can be taken from us at any moment. It is our choice in how we live it.

The 61th Miss World Final will be held on 8th November 2011 in London.

The date and location for the 61st Miss World Final has been announced -- 8th November 2011, in London, England.



The first Miss World event was created by Eric Morley in 1951 as part of his promotion of the festival of Britain which took place in the South Bank of the River Thames. The Miss World is approaching its 60th birthday and wants to celebrate with a very special party by returning where it all began on the London's South Bank.

The special event will feature from winners from the past and present, and we will be re-living some of the special moments and the star names that have been a part of our 60 year history. Our celebration will take contestants across the United Kingdom in the runner-up to the final, to be held in London on Tuesday 8th November 2011.
