Miss World Malta 2012 will be held on 14 April 2012

Road to Miss Malta World 2012

A total of 30 girls will be competing for the title of Miss World Malta after having been chosen to represent their individual localities. The final contest will be held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre on 14 April.

Venezuela's Catherine de Zorzi wins Miss Atlantic International 2012

Catherine de Zorzi, the representative of Venezuela, was crowned Miss Atlantic International 2012 in an event held in Punta del Este, Uruguay.

Sheree-Lee Gildenhuys of South Africa was the 1st runner-up and Ana Isabel Jiménez of Spain was the 2nd runner-up.

Biography

Julia Belechak is the 5'6" green-eyed daughter of Joe and Michelle Belechak. Julia attends Vincentian Academy. She plans to graduate college with a degree in broadcast journalism and become an entertainment news reporter. Julia believes her one strongest talent is her ability to effectively speak in public. Her favorite hobbies include world travel, attending Pittsburgh Pirate games, collecting spoons, kayaking and volunteering. Julia is the captain of her cheerleading squad, a member of the Care Team and involved in acting. She describes herself as ambitious, aspiring and compassionate.

Kiana is a junior at North Medford High School and has been on the Honor Roll since 7th grade. She plans to study Theatre Arts as her major and Political Science and Astronomy as minors at the University of Alabama, University of Oregon, or a university in Hawaii. She has participated in swim team throughout high school and is involved with a program known as FCA which stands for Fellowship Christian Athletes.
