Atong De Mach was crowned Miss World South Sudan 2011 on September 30, 2011 in Juba City. She will represent South Sudan in Miss World 2011 Pageant this November in London. Atong was last year’s Miss Earth South Sudan winner.

Maria Selena was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2011

21-year old Maria Selena, from Central Java, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2011 during the event held at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Jakarta.



The 1st runner-up was Liza Purnamasari (20) from East Java, while the 2nd runner-up was Andi Tenri Natassa, from South Sulawesi (19).

Selena will now represent Indonesia at the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. While Purnamasari is expected to attend the Miss International beauty contest to be held in China.

Reigning Miss Universe Leila Lopes was present at the event. Artika Sari Devi, Puteri Indonesia 2004 (and finalist in Miss Universe 2005) was one of the judges.

Veronica Doblas will represent Spain at the 11th Miss Earth pageant in Thailand. She is the current Miss Espanola Internacional titleholder. Beginning this year, the Miss Earth license for Spain will be handled by the Miss Espanola Internacional beauty pageant.
