BIOGRAPHY:

Giuliana Zevallos Roncagliolo (born in Lima, Peru) is a beauty queen who was crowned Miss Continente Americano 2010 on September 18, 2010, becoming that pageant's very first titleholder from her country.

Prior to winning Miss Continente Americano, she was Miss Earth Perú 2008 and Miss Perú 2010,[1] and represented her country in both Miss Earth 2008 and Miss Universe 2010.

Giuliana Myriam Zevallos Roncagliolo (or Giuliana Zevallos in short) was crowned Miss Peru 2010 at the finale held on May 22, 2010 at Parque de la Amistad in Lima, Peru. The pageant was broadcast live at Panamericana Television. Aside from the Miss Peru 2010 title, she also won “Miss Elegance” award.

The 22 year-old Giuliana was born in Loreto, Peru’s largest and northernmost region. She stands 5 ft 11 in tall. She is a medical student at Universidad Cientifica del Sur specializing in cardiology / endocrinology. When she was young, she wanted to be a singer and a famous star but when her grandmother, Doña María Eudosia, suffered from sickness, she wanted to become a doctor.

During her early years at Universidad Nacional Pedro Ruiz Gallo she said that she’s an ugly duckling. But as years goes by, her true beauty emerges. She has become one of the brightest figures in commercial and advertising catalogs. She previously competed in Miss Peru pageant in 2008 where she placed first runner-up. And as first runner-up in the Miss Peru 2008 pageant, she represented her country in the Miss Earth 2008 pageant. Unfortunately, she didn’t reach the top 15. After two years, she joined the Miss Peru pageant again and this time, she brought home the title. Prior to the Miss Peru 2010 pageant, she participated in Peru Moda 2010 at Fortaleza Real Felipe fair ground held on April 28-April 30.
