Kara Arnold, Miss Davis County, was crowned Miss Utah 2012 on June 16, 2012. She will represent Utah in Miss America 2013 Pageant to be held in Las Vegas next January. Arnold is a graduate from the University of Utah with a degree in biochemistry. She will receive a $10,000 scholarship, serve as a representative of the Children’s Miracle Network, and promote her personal platform, “Discover Your Potential — Step Up with STEM.”

Alexis Wineman was crowned Miss Montana 2012 on June 16, 2012. She will represent Montana in Miss America 2013Pageant to be held in Las Vegas next January.

 The first runner up was Alysse Charlseworth; the second runner-up was Shelby Dangerfield; the third runner-up was Courtney Bury and the fourth runner-up was Torianna Zander.

International model Martina Ivezaj, 22, was designated as the German representative in Miss World 2012 (Miss World Germany). Three years ago she was elected “Miss Tuning”, edging out 350 candidates from all over Germany and being featured on the famous Tuning World Bodensee calendar.

Ivezaj will compete in Miss World 2012, in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, on August 18.

Vu Hoang My is Miss World Vietnam 2012?

According to quite a few local newspapers, Vu Hoang My has been appointed Miss World Vietnam 2012 and will represent Vietnam in Miss World 2012 Pageant to be held in China this August.

However, when contacted by reporter, Vu Hoang My refused to answer the question and told reporters to ask Elite Vietnam, the license holder of Miss World Organization in Vietnam. Mrs Thuy Hanh from Elite Vietnam also denied to answer the question. She only said Vu Hoang My is one of three candidates. Elite Vietnam will announce its decision soon. Let’s wait and see.
