MISS GEORGIA WORLD 2013 - Tamar Shedania

ROAD TO MISS WORLD 2013

Tamar Shedania has just been appointed as Miss World Georgia 2013 by the “Miss Georgia” competition. The beauty from the capital city of Tbilisi is 21 years old and stands 1.78 m. She will represent Georgia in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28th, 2013 in Borgor, Indonesia.

Tamar was the winner of Miss Georgia 2012 and represented her country in the Miss Universe 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, she failed to make it to the semi-final.

Thamtha is a well known model. She competed in International Elite Model Look contest in 2007 where she was the Winner. In her professional life and spare time, she loves to travel where she can learn about different cultures and people.

She grew up in the small town of Zugdidi, Georgia. She began entering beauty contest and modeling at the age of 14. Tamar loves spending time with children, traveling, and acting at the National Georgian Theatre. Currently, she works at the Ministry of Agricultural Development in her home country of Georgia.

MISS KAZAKHSTAN WORLD 2013 - Aĭnur Tolyeuova

Aĭnur Tolyeuova has just been appointed as Miss World Kazakhstan 2013. Ms Tolyeuova from Taldykorgan is 18 years old and stands at 1.78 m tall. She will represent Kazakhstan in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28th, 2013 in Bogor, Indonesia.

Tolyeuova is the winner of the Miss Kazakhstan 2011 pageant held at the Intercontinental Almaty Hotel last December 6, 2011. She was announced to represent the country in Miss Universe 2012 pageant in Las Vegas but Kazakhstan withdrew in the last minutes

Gloria Tang, Miss Chinese Vancouver, was crowned Miss Chinese International 2013

Gloria Tang, Miss Chinese Vancouver, was crowned Miss Chinese International 2013 at the finale of the pageant held on February 24, 2013. She was crowned by Miss Chinese International 2012, also and Miss Hong Kong World 2012, Kelly Cheung.

The winner doesn’t compete in Miss International, it’s more like Miss Italia Nel Mondo, just a contest for Chinese beauty throughout the world. Although alot of them are asked to compete in other pageants, like Kelly Cheung was asked to compete in Miss World.

Her full name is Tang Pui Yee and she was born in Hongkong. The 20-year-old marketing student from the University of British Columbia stands 5’6½”. She can speak Cantonese, English, Putonghua.

Carat Cheung of Hong Kong was the second runner-up.

Contestant Denise Tan of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was the first runner-up, while Carat Cheung of Hong Kong was the second runner-up.

The top five completed with Boonyisa Chantrarachai from Bangkok, Thailand and Jessica Song from Toronto, Canada

Special Awards: The Media Popularity Award went Jacky Cai from Melbourne, Australia; Miss Friendship went to Lauren Weinberger from Los Angeles, United States and the Star of Tomorrow Award went to finalist Jessica Song.

The slogan to this year’s pageant is “A Beautiful Revolution” For the first time since 2007, when the pageant allowed Mainland Chinese delegates to enter, there was no Regional Competition for Mainland China, with only Foshan sending a delegate. With 16 delegates, this is the lowest turnout of any Miss Chinese International pageants

Vania Larissa, Miss West Kalimantan was crowned of Miss Indonesia 2013

 Road to Miss World 2013

Vania Larissa, Miss West Kalimantan, was the winner of Miss Indonesia 2013. The event took place at the Jakarta International Expo.

She is from Pontianak, 17 years old, and stands 1.71 m. Miss World, Wenxia Yu, and Julia Morley, CEO of MWO, were present at the event.
