Miss Pretoria, Melinda Bam has been crowned Miss South Africa 2011 at a glittering event held at the Sun City Superbowl on Sunday night 11 December 2011.

Melinda Bam beat the other 11 contestants from across the country with her poise, personality and golden beauty. She believes she has the motivation, ambition and confidence to become an inspiring ambassador to South Africa and the youth of South Africa.

Melinda Bam is an official representative of South Africa at the Miss World 2012, at the 62nd edition of the Miss World in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on 18th August, 2012 and also represent her country at the Miss Universe 2012.
