Daniella Ocoro Mejia, from Valle, was crowned Miss World Colombia 2013 in an event which took place in Bogota on August 10. She is 22 years old, 1.72 m-tall, and a student of Architecture.
The runner-ups were Miss Antioquia, Melissa Velásquez Moncada, and Shary Rosa Vellojín, Miss Cundinamarca.
The national pageant which was known as “Miss Mundo Colombia” has a new name: Miss Colombia International. However, the winner remains the official Colombian representative in Miss World.
Barbara Turbay, who is currently in Ordos, competing for the Miss World 2012 title, did not crown her successor.
