Mai Thi Giang, the model from the port city of Haiphong, beat two other contestants to be the overall winner of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012 at the event held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 25, 2012.
Mai Giangis 21 years old, weighs 48kg and measures 77-63-88. She is currently a student at Haiphong University. As the winner of the contest, Giang won a two-year working contract with BeU Model Management Company (worth VND1 billion), a member card in Fitness & Yoga (VND300 million), a cash prize (worth VND200 million) from Cosmopolitan magazine, a short-term training course in Tokyo, Japan, and some other prizes.
The most favourite contestant voted by spectators was Nha Truc.

Also present on the final night were the Top 15 of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2012, Hoang Thuy-winner of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2011, Ho My Phuong (Top 9) from Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2010, who performed in dresses designed by Adrian Anh Tuan.
The four-month contest jury consisted of supermodel Xuan Lan, photographer Pham Hoai Nam, designer Do Manh Cuong and Creative and Art Director Nam Trung.
