Adriana Paniagua, from Chinandega, Nicaragua, won the Miss Teen International 2011

15-year old Adriana Paniagua, from Chinandega, Nicaragua, won the Miss Teen International beauty pageant held in San Jose, Costa Rica, on November 23rd. The 1st runner-up was Miss Teen Costa Rica (Josseling Porras) and the 2nd runner-up was Miss Teen Colombia (Sofia De las Piedras). Completing the Top 6 were the teens from Aruba (Michelle Mota), Puerto Rico (Rebeca Valentin) and Canada (Alexandra Janays). 14 beauties competed in the pageant.




Miss Teen Nicaragua also won the Best National Costume award.

The pageant, which is usually held in Costa Rica, has signed a contract with China for the next five years, explained Enrique Gonzalez, organizer; and it will be held in the asian country starting in 2012.

The first 12 contestants who will participate in the Miss Universe Canada 2012 Finals in June have been chosen. The General Toronto Area and Central Ontario preliminary competition took place at the Jane Mallett theatre in Toronto on December 3rd, where a group of 34 ladies competed in swimsuits and evening gowns in hopes of reaching one of the 12 coveted spots.

Anna Pietrovich, Dajana Radovanovic , Kesiah Papasin, Alena Konovalova, Amanda Kazmierczak, Lisa Wong, Diana Schoutsen, Chelsi Mittelholzer, Natka Brestovanska, Maria Nahri, Katerina Kiprich and Marta Jablonska will advance to the national finals and will compete to represent Canada in the Miss Universe 2012 pageant. Three of the country's most gorgeous women were proclaimed Mutya Ng Pilipinas for 2011 during the Grand Coronation Night held last Friday, December 02, 2011 at the San Juan Arena, San Juan City, Metro Manila

The 3 lucky-crowned beauty queens are Vickie Marie Rushton - Mutya Ng Pilipinas International 2011, Felicia Baron - Mutya Ng Pilipinas Tourism 2011, and Bea Santiago - Mutya Ng Pilipinas Overseas Communities. Diana Sunshine Rademann and Tifani Alexandra Grimes were proclaimed 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively.

Kristina Marie Jose won the popularity award conducted by OPMB. She garnered the most number of online votes. The coronation night will be aired on December 11, 2011, Sunday over Studio 23 from 9pm - 11:pm.

Miss Belarus, Inna Hrabouskaya was crowned Miss Yacht Model International 2011

Sixty-three international beauties competed to be the Miss Yacht Model International, in Haikou, China. The winner was Miss Belarus, Inna Hrabouskaya, 19, 1.80 m-tall. She won USD 10,000 and several other prizes.

LUANDA, Angola - Marcelina Vahekeni (21, 1.70m, Ondjiva) was crowned Miss Angola 2012 at the Belas Conference Centre in Luanda. She will represent Angola in Miss Universe 2012. Isilda Silva, Rossana Silva, Manuela Agostinho and Catarina Furtado completed the Top Five.
As reported on November 8, 2011, Edmilza Nicosía Mota dos Santos, first runner-up of Miss Angola 2011, will represent Angola in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia next July.

The organizers of the Miss Angola pageant will launch the Miss Angola Mundo pageant next July and the winner will compete in Miss World 2013.
