Road to Mister Brazil 2012: Rio Grande do Sul’s 25 finalists

Representatives from 52 cities competed in the semi-finals of Mister Rio Grande do Sul 2012, in the city of Novo Hamburgo. The judges were supposed to pick 20 finalists for the final event, which will take place on June 10, however, the level was so high, that 25 representatives were chosen to advance to the finals.
The winner will succeed model Willian Rech, a semi-finalist in Mister Brazil 2011, and will compete in Mister Brazil 2012.

The first Brazilian state to have elected its representative for Mister Brazil 2012 was Minas Gerais, and the winner was Dezico Custódio Junior, 26, from Conceição das Alagoas. The event took place in the city of Patos de Minas, and 20 candidates competed.
