As Melinda Bam disputes the Miss Universe title as “the one to beat” in Las Vegas, her successor back home was crowned last Sunday, December 9.

The winner was Marilyn Ramos, from Pretoria.  The first runner-up was Stacey Webb and the second runner-up was Pearle Nxele. The top 5 were completed by Simone de Kock and Charne King.

Ramos is expected to compete in Miss World and Miss Universe 2013.

Stephanie Tency, Miss Noord-Holland, was crowned Miss Universe Nederland 2013 Miss Noord-Holland, was crowned Miss Universe Nederland 2013 at the end of the Miss Nederland 2012 beauty pageant held in Amsterdam on Monday night of December 10, 2012. She will represent Netherlands in the Miss Universe 2013 beauty pageant.

Stephanie was crowned Miss Noord-Holland on June 3rd, 2012 at JT Cinema Heerhugowaard. The 21 year old beauty from Amsterdam stands 1.73 m. With the tittle, she represented her province during the final of Miss Netherlands 2012.

Jacqueline Steenbeek was crowned Miss Nederland World 2013

Jacqueline Steenbeek, Miss Noord-Brabant, was crowned Miss Nederland World 2013 at the end of the Miss Nederland 2012 beauty pageant held in Amsterdam on Monday night of December 10, 2012. The beauty from Drunen is 23 years old and stands 1.76 m. She will represent Netherlands in the Miss World 2013 beauty pageant, schedule to take place in Indonesia next September.

Carey Ng was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2012

Road to  Miss Universe 2013

Carey Ng, 23, 1.78 m-tall, was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2012 on December 10 in Shah Alam. She will represent Malaysia in the 2013 Miss Universe Pageant, possibly in Uruguay or South Africa.

The first runner-up was Natalie Ng and the second runner-up was May Salitah.
