25-year-old Maria Gabriela Isler of Venezuela was crowned the title of Miss Universe 2013 in front of a worldwide audience of approximately 1 billion viewers from Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia. The 62nd Annual MISS UNIVERSE Competition was broadcast on NBC with a Spanish simulcast on Telemundo.

Gabriela Isler, Miss Venezuela 2013, is crowned the winner by Olivia Culpo, Miss Universe 2012, onstage during MISS UNIVERSE® 2013 from Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia on November 9, 2013 at 9:00 PM ET on NBC.

Gabriela is a college graduate with a marketing degree who enjoys flamenco dancing and baking when she is not modeling. She is from the town of Maracay, Venezuela, right outside of Caracas, the country’s capital.

Miss Universe 2013 if the titleholder for some reason cannot fulfill her responsibilities.

Second Runner-Up: Miss Universe Ecuador, Constanza Baez.

Miss Congeniality Universe™ Award: Miss Universe China, Jin Ye. This award reflects the respect and admiration of the delegate’s peers who voted for her as the most congenial, charismatic and inspirational participant. She was awarded a $1,000 cash prize and a gift from Diamond Nexus.

MISS GREECE UNIVERSE 2013 - Anastasia Sidiropoulou

 ROAD TO MISS UNIVERSE 2013

Anastasia Sidiropoulou, a 19-year old student from Athens, was appointed Greece’s representative in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant to be held in Moscow, Russia, in November.

Reasons for this appointment were given by national director Vassilis Prevelakis, stating that the “Star Hellas” competition will take place during the end of October, with its winners competing in Miss Universe and Miss World 2014.

Anastasia won in 2011 the title of “Miss Teen World” and is now preparing to put Greece on the map again during the Miss Universe competition.

MISS BAHAMAS UNIVERSE 2013 - Lexi Wilson

Lexi Wilson was crowned Miss Bahamas Universe 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held at at the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas on September 8, 2013. The brunette beauty from Nassau is 22 years old and stands 5’9”. She will represent Bahamas in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.


The first runner-up was Chantal O’Brien.
The second runner-up was Tavette Aisha Darville. She also won Miss Congeniality and Miss Popularity Awards.
The third runner-up was Shanae Strachan. She also won Miss Photogenic and Best Costume Awards.

MISS HONDURAS UNIVERSE 2013 - Diana Mendoza

Diana Mendoza, representing Tela, was crowned Miss Universe Honduras 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held September 10th, 2013 at the the Real Intercontinental Hotel in San Pedro Sula City. She will represent Honduras in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.

At the same event, Natalya Coto, representing El Progreso, was crowned Miss Earth Honduras 2013 and will compete in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant in the Philippines.

The first runner-up was Gabriela Salazar, representing Tegucigalpa.
Miss Friendship Award went to Miss Ceiba Liz Bucato.
Miss Photogenic Award went to Miss Copan Suseth Cardona.

MISS SPAIN UNIVERSE 2013 - Patricia Yurena Rodriguez

Patricia Yurena Rodriguez was crowned Miss Universe Spain 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held on September 11th, 2013 at the Hotel Ada Palace in Madrid. The beauty from Santa Cruz de Tenerife is 23 years old and stands 1.79 m. She will represent Spain in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.
The first runner-up was Lidia Santos and the second runner-up was Ana Montabes.

Patricia Rodríguez is no stranger to beauty pageants. She was crowned Miss Espana 2008 – the official representative to Miss Universe – at the age of 17.

But due to Miss Universe eligibility regulations that state every contestant must be eighteen before February 1, Rodríguez was ineligible to attend Miss Universe 2008 in Nha Trang, Vietnam and first runner-up Claudia Moro of Madrid went instead.

Rodríguez was sent to compete in Miss World 2008 in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she placed as one of the top 15 semifinalists.

MISS SWEDEN UNIVERSE 2013 - Alexandra Friberg

Alexandra Friberg from Stora Vika was crowned Miss Universe Sweden 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held on August 30, 2013 at the Club Ambassadeur in Kungsgatan, Stockholm. The 18-year-old model will represent the country in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.

Earlier this year, Friberg represented her country in Miss Beauty of The World in 2013 held in Kyrgyzstan and won the title.

At the same event, Eleonore Lilja was crowned Miss International Sweden 2013 and will represent Sweden in the upcoming Miss International 2013 in Japan. At the time of her crowning, Eleonore is the reigning Miss Bromma. She stands 1.78 m.

Denice Andrée was crowned Miss Earth Sweden 2013 and will represent Sweden in the upcoming Miss Earth 2013 pageant.

Olga Storozhenko from Vinnitsa was crowned Miss Universe Ukraine 2013 by the outgoing queen Anastasia Chernova on September 4th, 2013 at Fairmont Grand Hotel in Kiev. The 21-year-old raven haired beauty will represent Ukraine in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.

The newly crowned Miss Ukraine Universe 2013 Olga Storozhenko is a senior at the Vinnitsa State Pedagogical University. The elementary-school-teacher-to- be is interested in English, modeling.
The first runner-up was 23 -year-old Sofia Oleynik.
The second runner-up was 21 -year-old Olga Rubanova from Odessa.
The third runner-up was 25 -year-old Anastasia Bozhkova of Kerch.
The fourth runner-up was 26 -year-old Elena Ryasnova.

MISS GERMANY UNIVERSE 2013 - Anne-Julia Hagen

Anne-Julia Hagen was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2013 at the conclusion of the final casting held on September 8th 2013 in Amersfoort/Netherlands. The beauty from Berlin is 23 years old and stands at 1.74 m. She will represent Germany in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.

She was crowned Miss Germany 2010 at the Europa Park in Rust on February 13th, 2010. She entered the pageant as Miss Berlin 2010. At the time, she was the student of English and American Cultural Studies at the University of Potsdam. Anne is fluent in German and English and has a good command of French.

Tsaone Macheng was crowned Miss Universe Botswana 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held at the Gaborone International Conference Center on September 7th, 2013. She will represent Botswana in upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in in Moscow, Russia.

The first runner-up was Benah Sekgabo and the second runner-up was Boitumelo Kanedi.

Simona Burbaitė was the first runner-up of the Mis Lietuva 2013 pageant held at the Palanga Summer Stage in in Palanga on August 15th, 2013 and was assigned the title of Miss Universe Lithuania 2013. The beauty from Vilnius is 21 years old and stands at 1.74 m tall. She will represent Lithuania in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013, scheduled for November 9th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.

At the same event, Rūta Elžbieta Mazurevičiūtė was crowned Miss World Lithuania 2013 and will represent Lithuania in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28th in Bogor, Indonesia.

The second runner-up was Justina Ieva Steponavičiūtė.

Kristina Bakiu, 18 years old and 5'8" tall, won the Miss Universe Albania title. She will represent Albania at Miss Universe 2013 pageant which is to be held in Moscow on November. Albania made it to the Miss Universe semis 3 times in the 10 instances that it participated.

 

She will represent Albania in Miss Universe 2013, in Moscow, Russia, on November 9.
