Damiete Charles-Granville was appointed Miss World Nigeria 2012. The 21 year-old beauty will represent Nigeria in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, People’s Republic of China on August 18.

She replaces Isabelle Agbor Ayukwho was not allowed to compete because she did not met the age requirements of the international pageant. Charles-Granville was the first runner-up of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2012 pageant.

Diana Avdiu was crowned Miss Universe Kosovo 2012

19-year old Diana Avdiu, from Kosovo Polje (Pristina), was crowned Miss Universe Kosovo 2012 during an event held on June 21st.

The runner-ups were Liridona Miftari and Elga Shala. Diana, who stands 174 cm in height, is a professional model who has worked for some renowned designers, including print and runway for Sherri Hill.

She will now represent Kosovo at the Miss Universe 2012 competition in December.

Vu Hoang My is Miss World Vietnam 2012?

According to quite a few local newspapers, Vu Hoang My has been appointed Miss World Vietnam 2012 and will represent Vietnam in Miss World 2012 Pageant to be held in China this August.

However, when contacted by reporter, Vu Hoang My refused to answer the question and told reporters to ask Elite Vietnam, the license holder of Miss World Organization in Vietnam. Mrs Thuy Hanh from Elite Vietnam also denied to answer the question. She only said Vu Hoang My is one of three candidates. Elite Vietnam will announce its decision soon. Let’s wait and see.

Açelya Samyeli Danoğlu was the overall winner of the Miss Turkey 2012 pageant and was crowned Miss Turkey World 2012. The beauty from Istanbul is 18 years old and stands 1.83m. She will represent Turkey in Miss World 2012 in China this August.

Çagil Özge Özkul was the first runner-up and was crowned Miss Turkey Universe 2012. The beauty from Ankara is 23 years old and stands 1.80m. She will represent Turkey in the upcoming Miss Universe 2012 Pageant.

 Meltem Tüzüner was the second runner-up and was crowned Miss Turkey International 2012. The beauty from Almanya is 23 years old and stands 1.75m. She will represent Turkey in the upcoming Miss International 2012 in Okinawa, Japan.
