Elizabeta Burg was crowned Miss Universe Hrvatske 2012 or Miss Croatia Universe 2012 at the Crystal Ballroom of the Westin Zagreb in Zagreb on April 1, 2012. Elizabeta Burg from Vrbanja is 18 years old and stands 1.78m. She will represent Croatia in Miss Universe 2012 next December.

Monika Mrvelj was the first runner-up and Dorotea Zorić was the second runner-up.

Mariana Notarangelo has just been crowned Miss Brazil World 2012 or Miss Mundo Brasil 2012 at the TV Pampa studios in Porto Alegre. Mariana from Rio de Janeiro is 22 years old and stands 1.75m. She will represent Brazil in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18. The first runner-up and the second runner-up were Camilla Serakides and Karine Barros, respectively.

Vanessa Muangkod was crowned Miss World Thailand 2012

Road to Miss World 2012



Miss World Thailand 2012 was crowned earlier today at the Central World Hotel in Bangkok. Vanessa “Na-Chatra” Muangkod edged out other 29 candidates to become Thailand’s representative in Miss World 2012, in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.



The winner is 20 years old, 1.74 m-tall, and studies Humanities at Ramkhamhaeng University.

The 1s runner-up was Boonyisa “Poppy” Chantrarachai, and the 2nd runner-up was Chawanluck “Pekky” Unger Moksiri.

The other two finalists were Athitaya “Uli” Von Zur Muehlen and Jarinya “Rin” Bachmann.

Vanessa will represent Thailand in Miss World 2012, on August 18, in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.

Miss World Costa Rica was crowned in the city of Heredia, and the winner is Silvana Sánchez Jiménez, from Palmares. She is 22 years old, and 1.80-m tall. Jiménez will represent Costa Rica in Miss World 2012, on August 18, in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.

Miss International Costa Rica 2012, Natasha Sibaja

Natasha Sibaja, a top 10 semi-finalist in Miss Tourism International 2011, placed 2nd and will represent Costa Rica in Miss International 2012, in China.

The Finals of Ceska Miss Earth 2012 will take place on March 31th 2012

The finals of Ceska Miss 2012 will take place at the Karlin Theatre in Prague on March 31st, televised live through Prima Family. Three winners will be crowned: Ceska Miss Universe (chosen by SMS votes), Ceska Miss World (chosen by the panel of judges, presided by actress Claudia Cardinale) and Ceska Miss Earth (the winner of the online voting).

An official announcement regarding the Miss Earth 2012 host country is yet to be made by Carousel Productions, organizers. The event is expected to take place in October.
