Evalina van Putten replaced Monifa Jansen as Miss Universe Curacao 2011 since Monia did not meet the age requirements stipulated by the Miss Universe Organization. Monifa was born in March, 1993. Evalina van Putten is Miss Curacao Intercontinental 2011 (the first runner-up in Miss Curacao 2011 Pageant). She is 19 year old and stands 1.84 m. Evalina van Putten will represent Curacao in the Miss Universe 2011 to be held in Sao Paulo, this September. Monifa Jansen will attend the Miss Intercontinental pageant instead.
