Daniella Margarita Alvarez Vásquez was crowned Señorita Colombia 2011-2012

Daniella Margarita Alvarez Vásquez, who competed as Srta. Atlántico, was crowned Señorita Colombia 2011-2012 during the conclusion of the annual event held at the Cartagena Convention Center in Cartagena on November 6th. Daniella, who holds a degree in Communications and Journalism, is currently completing her Masters in Organizational Developement. She has 23-years old, stands 1.73 cm tall and speaks Spanish, English and German. Daniella will now represent Colombia at the Miss Universe 2012 competition.



The 1st runner-up or “Virreina” was Srta. Magdalena, Melissa Varón. She is a 24-year old Chemical Engineer and model, and stands 1.80 m in height. Since she cannot compete in Miss International for being over the age limit, she is expected to represent Colombia at the Miss Continente Americano 2012 pageant in Ecuador.

The 2nd runner-up was Srta. Valle, Melina Ramírez Serna. This 21-year old beauty stands 1.77 cm tall and will represent Colombia at the Miss International beauty pageant in Chengdu, China, in 2012.

The 3rd runner-up was Miss Cartagena, and the 4th runner-up was Miss Cundinamarca.
