Biography

Jacqueline is a senior at Mesilla Valley Christian Schools and her goal is to obtain a MD degree, pursue a career in medicine and provide the very best healthcare in rural New Mexico communities in the future. She is a very kind and compassionate young lady who loves the Lord. She has been on the high school honor roll all four years with a 4.0 GPA. Along with her numerous academic achievements, she also spends countless hours volunteering in our southern New Mexico communities. One of her most recent awards was the National Leadership Award 2011 from the United States Achievement Academy.

Jacqueline began her classical piano training at the age of three. Some of her other passions are golf, reading and dancing. As Miss New Mexico Teen USA 2012, Jacqueline would like to devote her time as an advocate to the issue of bullying and also stressing the importance of education - two topics that she holds very dear to her heart. One of her favorite quotes is "Success in life is not only what you gain or accomplish for yourself, it is what you do for others." With that in mind, the quote serves as Jacqueline's daily reminder to keep the interests of others at heart in everything she does.
