At the finale of the Miss Universe Japan 2012 last night (April 1st, 2012), the beautiful model Ayako Hara from Miyagi prefecture was the winner. Ayako Hara is 24 years old and stands 1.70m. She will represent Japan at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant in December.
The first runner-up is Sora Yoshimura (Nagano A) and the second runner-up is Yukimi Matsui (Fukuoka). Emu Shimizu and Tomomi Kondo completed the top five.
