A human rights activist and a modern-day slavery abolitionist Tara Teng was crowned “Miss World Canada 2012″ the grand coronation night at the River Rock Casino, Rivhmond BC on Sunday, May 13, 2012.

Tara Teng will represent Canada in Miss World 2012 beauty contest which is the 62nd edition of Miss World beauty contest and it will held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on 18th August, 2012.
