Johanna Batista was crowned the title of Miss Earth Panama 2013 at the conclusion of the Bellezas Panamá 2013 pageant held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Centennial Hall of the Panama Hotel. The 20-year-old beauty will represent Panama in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
At the same event, Betsy Madrid was crowned the title of Miss International Panama 2013. The 19-year-old beauty will represent Panama in the upcoming Miss International 2013 pageant.
Lesbia Lobo was crowned Miss Panamá Caraibes Hibiscus 2013 and will compete in Miss Caraibes Hibiscus 2013 pageant.
Bellezas Panamá 2013 is produced by “Tania Hyman’s Models and Talents”. The aim of the pageant is to promote not only culture and social sensitivity but also “Preserving the planet of hand beauty” as its slogan.

MISS UNITED STATES EARTH 2013 - Nicolle Velez
ROAD TO MISS EARTH 2013
Nicolle Velez, reigning Miss Earth Empire State, was crowned Miss Earth United States 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held on September 1st, 2013 at the Ala Moana Hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii. She will represent the United States in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
Edita Jurisic, Miss Earth Pennsylvania 2013, was crowned US Earth Miss Air 2013.
Emily Miller, Miss Earth South Dakota 2013, was crowned US Earth Miss Ecotourism 2013.
Eli Reyes, Miss Earth Texas 2013, was crowned US Earth Miss Water 2013.
Lucie Poehere Wilson, Miss Earth Hawaii 2013, was crowned US Earth Miss Fire 2013.
National delegates compete in 5 equally weighted areas of competition. The judges will use a scoring method awarding each delegate a score from 0- 10. The highest and lowest scores will be discarded and remaining scores will be totaled. The delegate with the highest number of points will be crowned Miss Earth United States. In addition, the next 4 highest scoring delegates will be awarded elemental titles of US Miss Air, Water, Fire and Eco. Elemental winners are not considered runner-ups, rather each of them are on equal weighting.
At the same event, former Miss Colorado USA 2011 Blair Griffith was crowned Miss Grand International United States 2013 and will represent the country in the Miss Grand International 2013 pageant, scheduled for November in Thailand.
Elizabeth Warner of Missouri has been chosen to represent the United States at the Bride of the World 2013 pageant to be held later this year in Taiwan.

Wendy Kristy from Rotterdam was crowned Miss Netherlands Earth 2013 in the pageant held recently. The 25-year-old model and television presenter will represent Netherlands in the upcoming Miss Earth 2013 pageant, scheduled for later this year.
The the pageant’s official twitter account, Wendy is describes as Real Estate Developer, TV host national television, Master Marketing and Ambassador of Humana.
Her full name is Wendy Kristy Hoogerbrugge. She studied real estate and brokerage at Rotterdam University and received her master’s degree in Business Administration in Marketing Management at Erasmus University.
She has been a fashion model since the age of fourteenth. Besides cat-walking for Paul Schulten, Mart Visser, Monique Collignon, Sheila de Vries and Stephan Badal, she was seen in Project Catwalk RTL 5 at the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. She has also worked as a model in Asia, Morocco and Paris and was depicted in such Beau Monde, LXRY, FHM, Veronica Magazine and Luxsure. She has been appearing in commercials for Philips, Samsung, Vodafone and NS. She also writes about fashion-related articles on the website of Fashion Television.
They presented the RTL 4 program Lifestyle Xperience Plus on Saturday, as well as the regular broadcast Lifestyle Xperience on Sunday. She currently presents on Sunday the SBS 6 program Nice Nice Life.
She is also an ambassador for her hometown Rotterdam and works for the development organization Humana.

MISS PAKISTAN EARTH 2013 - Shanzay Hayat
ROAD TO MISS EARTH 2013
The 23-year-old beauty from Seattle Shanzay Hayat was crowned Miss Pakistan World 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held at the Red Rose Convention Centre in Mississauga on Friday night of August 30th, 2013. However, she is not going to represent the country in the Miss World pageant but will represent Pakistan in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
The first runner-up was Asiya Flower, 22, from Mississauga and the second runner-up was Gizella Mandi, 24, from Oshawa. The third runner-up was Syeda Naqvi, 20, from Brampton and the fourth runner-up was Karishma Khogiani who also won the Miss Photogenic award.

MISS ENGLAND EARTH 2013 - Chloe Othen

Chloe Othen was crowned Miss Earth England 2013 at the conclusion of the Miss Earth United Kingdom 2013 pageant held on August 25th, 2013 at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom in Lancashire, England.
The beauty from London is 22 years old and stands 5’9″ tall. She will represent England in the upcoming Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
Chloe was first spotted by model scouts at The Clothes Show Live event in 2009. She has represented quite a few brands such as Fashion TV, NARS Cosmetics, TODS, Breitling, MYO Fashion, Sahara (relocated to India) and many swimwear brands.
Chloe Othen was crowned Miss Model of the World UK 2011 and represented the country in the 23rd edition of the Miss Model of the World Contest International in China.
At the same event, Kiera Kingsman was crowned Miss Earth Scotland 2013 and will compete in the upcoming Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
Amira Graham was crowned Miss Earth Northern Ireland 2013 and will represent England in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
Angharad James was crowned Miss Earth Wales 2013 and will compete in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant.

Achievements
One of my greatest achievements would be completing my GCSE’s at 15 years of age (a year earlier than required). Whilst also in high school education I was awarded a drama scholarship which ended with a guild hall performing arts exam and qualification. Recent achievements professionally include my new role as a Personal Assistant for 3 Directors who specialize in financial real estate/services, a banker and a lawyer. The Finance world is tough yet enjoyable and holds a huge level of discretion and responsibility. I enjoy challenging work and problem solving. I am proud of my achievements in the modelling world and the last two years have included all expenses paid travel to a number of countries. I have been extremely lucky and I have relished every moment of it. I have been modelling for 5 years, part time around permanent job roles and occasionally taking a few months out to model full time. I have been lucky enough to represent myself as a model (self-employed) whilst also signed to various agencies such as: Flair Talent, Base Model Management , Radical Talent India, Faux Face and Matching Models.
When I was 19 I set up a small ecommerce website selling self-tanning products. The company was called Brown Me Ltd and the website was brownme.com. The website sold products from St Tropez and Fake Bake plus many other emerging overseas brands that were not available in the UK; I worked hard in bringing in ‘new’ self-tan brands to England. I backed the Dazzle don’t Frazzle campaign aimed to encourage people to stop using sunbeds. Over 18months BrownMe had attracted other larger businesses attention and was later acquired by Sunjunkie Ltd.
I have always been patriotic therefore to represent my country at Miss Earth would be my ultimate achievement.
Talents
Performing Arts (Singing and Acting). I have a theatrical background and was awarded a scholarship for drama during my secondary school years. I ended my scholarship with a guild hall performing arts exam and qualification.
Interests and Hobbies
Fashion, Finance, Business, Gym, Reading, Healthy eating and living, Social, Travel, Skiing, Modelling, Performing Arts, Photography, Family.
Charity work has always been a top priority of mine. I am extremely interested in raising money for various charities and take pride in doing so. In the past few years I have raised thousands of pounds for Help the Heroes, Children’s Variety Club, Beauty with a Purpose, Joshua Foundation, Comic Relief, Aids, Lavender Trust, Breast Cancer Awareness, Maggie’s Cancer Centre, RSPCA Leybourne and The Hemraj Goyal Foundation. I enjoy fund raising for worthy causes and find it fun to hold car boot fairs, cake sales, PJ days and various sporting challenges in order to raise money.
I am deeply passionate about becoming an Ambassador for environmental and animal protection campaigns worldwide.
Ambitions
The ability to advance my career through self-motivation and achievement. My ultimate ambition is to work hard and fulfil my dreams in becoming a model and eventually a successful business woman. I enjoy meeting people from different walks of life. I will continue exploring the world and what it has to offer.
Miss Earth is the only beauty competition in the world that is designed to raise awareness of green issues for a clean natural and healthy environment. I would like to work together with the organisers of Miss Earth UK to gain greater exposure for the cause of the pageant. To be recognised for the hard work and quality of natural beauty from inner self and delivery of actions rather than words. To be crowned as Miss Earth England would not only be an honour but also a good foundation to go on to compete internationally.
Environmental Message
We need to work together to take care of one thing that relates to us all… The Earth. It is important to look after the planet and take pride in going green. I am deeply passionate about becoming an Ambassador for environmental protection campaigns worldwide. I am a vegetarian and feel it is important to promote awareness towards eating and living a clean, natural and healthy life.

MISS BRAZIL EARTH 2013 - Priscilla Martins

Priscilla Martins was crowned Miss Earth Brazil 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held at Ginásio do Centro Campestre do Estrela do Oeste Clube (EOC) in Divinópolis, Minas Gerais on August 24th, 2013. She will represent Brazil in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
Miss Earth Brazil Air 2013 (the first runner-up) was Juliete di Pieri from CHAPADA DOS GUIMARÃES. Miss Earth Brazil Water 2013 (the second runner-up) was Karla Mandro from BACIA DO RIO PIRACICABA. Miss Earth Brazil Fire 2013 (the third runner-up) was Rafaeli Ringenberg from LAGO DE ITAIPU.
Miss Terra Brasil is the official preliminary of the international Miss Earth beauty pageant in Brazil. It was founded in 2001 and was originally called Beleza Brasil organized by Beauty Productions Brazil Ltda. from 2001–2007.
The pageant changed its name in 2008 to Miss Terra Brasil organized by Look Top Beauty Productions. The organization is led by the current national director José Alonso Dias from Minas Gerais.
Simone Régis, who was crowned Beleza Brasil 2001, was the first who placed at a Miss Earth pageant. She went to represent Brazil in the first edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant in the Philippines and she won the Miss Air crown (first runner up) on October 28, 2001.
In 2003, Priscila Poleselo Zandoná from the state of Paraná duplicated the feat of Régis when she won the Miss Air crown in the Miss Earth 2003.
Brazil leads the ranking of most titles won since its participation in 2001. Priscilla Meirelles won the Miss Earth 2004 title and Larissa Ramos won the Miss Earth 2009.

Priscilla Martins was crowned Miss Earth Brazil 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held at Ginásio do Centro Campestre do Estrela do Oeste Clube (EOC) in Divinópolis, Minas Gerais on August 24th, 2013. She will represent Brazil in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant.
Miss Earth Brazil Air 2013 (the first runner-up) was Juliete di Pieri from CHAPADA DOS GUIMARÃES. Miss Earth Brazil Water 2013 (the second runner-up) was Karla Mandro from BACIA DO RIO PIRACICABA. Miss Earth Brazil Fire 2013 (the third runner-up) was Rafaeli Ringenberg from LAGO DE ITAIPU.
Miss Terra Brasil is the official preliminary of the international Miss Earth beauty pageant in Brazil. It was founded in 2001 and was originally called Beleza Brasil organized by Beauty Productions Brazil Ltda. from 2001–2007.
The pageant changed its name in 2008 to Miss Terra Brasil organized by Look Top Beauty Productions. The organization is led by the current national director José Alonso Dias from Minas Gerais.
Simone Régis, who was crowned Beleza Brasil 2001, was the first who placed at a Miss Earth pageant. She went to represent Brazil in the first edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant in the Philippines and she won the Miss Air crown (first runner up) on October 28, 2001.
In 2003, Priscila Poleselo Zandoná from the state of Paraná duplicated the feat of Régis when she won the Miss Air crown in the Miss Earth 2003.
Brazil leads the ranking of most titles won since its participation in 2001. Priscilla Meirelles won the Miss Earth 2004 title and Larissa Ramos won the Miss Earth 2009.

Ashanti Mbanga was crowned Miss Earth South Africa 2013 at the conclusion of the Miss Earth South Africa Gala Night Celebration held at Montecasino’s Ballroom on August 18th, 2013. The 24-year-old Johannesburg native will represent South Africa in the upcoming Miss Earth 2013 beauty contest, scheduled for November at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City, Philippines.
Ashanti is on her final year as Transport Economics student at the University of Johannesburg. She was described by the official Miss Earth South Africa website as someone who loves the idea of living surrounded by trees, as she does in Johannesburg’s leafy suburb of Hurtshill.
