MISS CAMEROUN WORLD 2013 - Denise Valérie Ayena

Denise Valérie Ayena was crowned Miss Cameroun 2013 at the Yaounde Conference Centre on August 9th, 2013. The beauty from Douala is 23 years old and stands at 1.80 m tall (5ft11). She will represent Cameroon in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28th, 2013 in Bogor, Indonesia. This will be the first time ever that Cameroon will compete in Miss World.

Denise is a bilingual fashion model and has been an international catwalk model for quite a few years.

20 beauties from all walks of Cameroon vied for the title.

MISS LITHUANIA WORLD 2013 - Rūta Elžbieta Mazurevičiūtė

ROAD TO MISS WORLD 2013

 

Rūta Elžbieta Mazurevičiūtė was the winner of the Mis Lietuva 2013 pageant held at the Palanga Summer Stage in in Palanga on August 15th, 2013 and was crowned the title of Miss World Lithuania 2013. The beauty from Garliavos is 22 years old and stands at 1.72 m tall. She will represent Lithuania in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28th in Bogor, Indonesia.

 

At the same event, Simona Burbaitė, the first runner-up, was assigned the title of Miss Universe Lithuania 2013. She will represent Lithuania in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013, scheduled for November 9th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.
The second runner-up was Justina Ieva Steponavičiūtė.

MISS NICARAGUA WORLD 2013 - Luz Mery Decena RiveraLuz Mery Decena Rivera

ROAD TO MISS WORLD 2013

23-year-old beauty Luz Mery Decena Rivera was crowned the new Miss World Nicaragua 2013 on August 15th, 2013 during the Primera Hora TV show at the Canal 2 studios in Managua. She will represent Nicaragua in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28th 213 in Bogor, Indonesia.

Luz is former winner of Reina del Carnaval Nicaragua which is considered as the second most prestigious beauty event in the country after Miss Nicaragua.

Luz Mery Decena was crowned the title after Adriana Paniagua, the original winner, gave up her title earlier this week, saying that she would not have enough time to prepare for her international challenge.

MISS KOSOVO UNIVERSE 2013 - Mirjeta Shala

 ROAD TO MISS UNIVERSE 2013

Mirjeta Shala was crowned the title of Miss Universe Kosovo 2013 at the conclusion of the Miss Kosova Universe pageant held at the Square 21 in Pristina on August 16th, 2013. The beauty from Vučitrn is 19 years old and stands at 1.83 m tall. She will represent Kosovo in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 9th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.

Mirjeta Shala is an Kosovar Albanian model who has participated in pageants before. She has Represent Kosovo in Miss Globe International 2011 and she was Out of Top 15.
This is the first Miss Kosova Universe pageant under a joint partnership between former Miss Albania Agnese Vuthaj, Fadil Berisha, Labinot Gashi and Radio Television 21 after the Miss Kosova Organization headed by Agron Selimi and Art Motion relinquished the Miss Universe license earlier this year.

MISS GUATEMALA WORLD 2013 - Loraine Quinto

 ROAD TO MISS WORLD 2013

Loraine Quinto was crowned the title of Miss Guatemala World 2013 or Miss Guatemala Mundo 2013 at the conclusion of the Miss Guatemala 2013 pageant held at the Crown Plaza hotel on Wednesday night of 14th August, 2013. She will represent Guatemala in the upcoming Miss World 2013 pageant, scheduled for September 28th, 2013 at the Sentul International Convention Center, Sentul and Nusa Dua, Indonesia.

 

Loraine is no new to beauty pageants. She was the winner of Nuestra Belleza Guatemala 2008, Senorita Guatemala 2009 and Nuestra Belleza Turismo Mundial 2011.

The 25-year-old beauty is a graduate of the University of ISTMO with a major in Interior Design.
 
At the same event, Paulette Samayoa was crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2013 and will represent Guatemala in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November in Moscow, Russia.

Sara Guerrero, the reigning Miss Miss Baja Verapaz, was crowned Miss International Guatemala 2013 and will compete in the Miss International 2013 pageant.

The finale of Miss Guatemala 2013 would have been held on July 6th, 2013 at the Convention Center in the city Altens. However, the event was canceled abruptly without prior notice due to logistical issues.
