Cindy Miranda was crowned Miss Tourism Queen International Philippines 2013

 ROAD TO MISS TOURISM QUEEN INTERNATIONAL 2013

Cindy Miranda was crowned Miss Tourism Queen International Philippines 2013(Bb. Pilipinas-Tourism 2013) at the end of the national finals held on April 14, 2013 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. The beauty from the capital city Manila is 22 years old and stands 5’7″. She will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Tourism Queen International 2013, in Xianning, China from 22nd September to 11th October 2013.

Joanna Cindy Veron Miranda is a graduate from the University of Sto. Tomas with a BA in Tourism. She was a former host at TV5′s Wil Time, Big Time.

Cindy is no stranger to beauty pageants. She won the Miss Teen Philippines Region 1, Miss Philippines Earth Baguio in the year 2008. She was also the Miss Tourism Ambassadress Baguio, Miss Camp 2010, Miss Ideal Thomasian Personalities 2010 and many other beauty pageant titles. She was one of the sexy 3Gs UnOfficial Housemates of the top-rating and popular reality TV show PBB Unlimited during the year 2011.

MISS AMERICA 2014 - Nina Davuluri

Nina Davuluri traded in her title of Miss New York for that of Miss America 2014, as she was crowned in Sept. 15 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

Davuluri, 24, is from Syracuse, New York and is the second consecutive Miss New York to win the national title. She graduated from St. Joseph High School and the University of Michigan. Her career ambition is to become a physician.

“I’m so honored to represent the class of 2014,” Davuluri said of her sister state titleholders. “Thank you to all of those ladies.”

Davuluri thanked Atlantic City and reiterated what was said all week about how the city had “rolled out the red carpet” for the return of the competition and its contestants.

 
Nina is a graduate from the University of Michigan and she will spend her 50 thousand USD scholarship money for medical school.

MISS WORLD 2012 - The Final Results

Wen Xia Yu is Miss World 2012 winner

Wen Yu Xia or Wen Xia Yu has been crowned Miss World 2012 at the finale of the pageant held in China. Wen Xia Yu, from Harbin, is 23 years old and stands 1.77m. The first runner-up was Miss Wales Sophie Elizabeth Moulds and the second runner-up was Miss Australia Jessica Kahawaty.

Wen Xia Yu, Miss World 2012 winner, tells her bashers (translated from Mandarin): “You guys can bash me all you want, but I won fair and square and your girl did not. Get over it! Now let me eat my Kung Pao chicken and leave me alone!”

Wen Yu Xia is the second Chinese beauty to win the Miss World tittle. The first Chinese woman to win Miss World was Zhang Zilin, who was crowned in 2007 also in China. Coincidence, or fixed? You decide!

Lexi Wilson was crowned Miss Bahamas Universe 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held at at the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas on September 8, 2013. The brunette beauty from Nassau is 22 years old and stands 5’9”. She will represent Bahamas in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.


The first runner-up was Chantal O’Brien.
The second runner-up was Tavette Aisha Darville. She also won Miss Congeniality and Miss Popularity Awards.
The third runner-up was Shanae Strachan. She also won Miss Photogenic and Best Costume Awards.

MISS HONDURAS UNIVERSE 2013 - Diana Mendoza

Diana Mendoza, representing Tela, was crowned Miss Universe Honduras 2013 at the conclusion of the pageant held September 10th, 2013 at the the Real Intercontinental Hotel in San Pedro Sula City. She will represent Honduras in the upcoming Miss Universe 2013 pageant, scheduled for November 10th, 2013 in Moscow, Russia.

At the same event, Natalya Coto, representing El Progreso, was crowned Miss Earth Honduras 2013 and will compete in the Miss Earth 2013 pageant in the Philippines.

The first runner-up was Gabriela Salazar, representing Tegucigalpa.
Miss Friendship Award went to Miss Ceiba Liz Bucato.
Miss Photogenic Award went to Miss Copan Suseth Cardona.
